Peak swelling happens in the first 3 days. Most are back to work at 1 week, with residual swelling and bruising.The entire head head will be wrapped in bandages for the first few days to prevent swelling and protect the incisions. The first 2 weeks will have bruising and swelling. Residual swelling and swelling take up to 6 months to subside.
